Humane Society of Montgomery

The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals; by operating an adoption center for healthy animals; by investigating cruelty and abuse cases; and by educating the public in animal owner responsibility.

Each year, thousands of animals come to the Humane Society in desperate need of healing and care which skilled staff and volunteers at the shelter provide. While the animals get a second chance at life, this organization works to end the intentional cruelty and accidental suffering that results in abuse and injury to animals in the first place.
