The Mid-Alabama Coalition for the Homeless (MACH) is a non-profit organization that serves many functions to unhoused people in the River Region. Volunteers are integral to the work of MACH and can be of assistance during special events and on a regular basis. All volunteers are asked to watch a short training video as well sign a volunteer liability waiver and confidentiality agreement.
Volunteers for the River Region Connect 2026 will assist at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl (220 Hall Street) from 0800 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the following ways:
- Set-up: Tuesday, February 3 (10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
- Registration
- Hospitality
- Participant Coordination
- Breakdown: Wednesday, February 4 (3:00 p.m. - until)
