Who We Are
As a witness to the love of God through Jesus Christ, Baptist Health exists as a voluntary, not-for-profit organization to promote and improve the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the people and communities it serves through the delivery of quality healthcare services provided within a framework of fiscal responsibility.
What We Do
Since 1963, Baptist volunteers have selflessly given themselves to help the community. Together with stewardship and dedication, the program continues to provide meaningful services to patients, families and visitors.
Volunteers are needed at the following locations:
- Baptist Hospice
- Baptist Medical Center East
- Baptist Medical Center South
- Montgomery Cancer Center
- Prattville Baptist Hospital
From clerical tasks to transporting patients, Baptist volunteers help continue the tradition of caring. In turn, volunteers receive training, reference for future employment, personal development through new experiences and a 10 percent discount on hospital stays.
