Council on Substance Abuse
Who We Are
The Council on Substance Abuse (COSA) is a private non-profit organization founded in 1973 to promote the understanding that alcoholism and other drug dependence are preventable and treatable diseases. The mission is to reduce the incidence and prevalence of alcoholism, drug addiction and related problems.
What We Do
COSA offers the following programs and services:
- Substance Misuse Prevention Education
- HIV/AIDS Education
- Mental Health Training and Education
- Recovery Support Services
- Veteran Services
