The mission of the Heart of Alabama Food Bank is to source, acquire, and distribute nutritious food to those experiencing hunger and food insecurity throughout our region, so that families, seniors, and children can thrive.
What We Do
The Heart of Alabama Food Bank serves 35 of Alabama's 67 counties (12 directly.) We are fighting to end hunger and Feed Hope to our neighbors in need. Our volunteers help us by boxing, bagging, and sorting food that is later distributed through our network of 200 partner agencies. Volunteer as an individual or a group. We have music, cold waters, and PURPOSE!
