Who We Are
Located on 40 acres, the Montgomery Zoo is an independent city department aided by The Montgomery Area Zoological Society. Home to 750 animals representing 140 species, the zoo is an accredited member of the Zoological Association of America and participates in twenty-one Species Survival Plans.
What We Do
The Zoo provides a safe and family oriented environment where the public can have an opportunity to spend some time with the animals that share the planet with us.
