Bayard Rustin Community Center/Montgomery Pride United

Located in the heart of Montgomery, the Bayard Rustin Community Center is a safe space uniting the community and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights.

The Center works to eliminate the isolation that many in the community experience because of their gender or sexual identities. The organization provides support, referrals and involvement at a local level as well as counseling and support groups for members of the LGBTQ+ community and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and trauma. The Center also distributes food, clothing and hygiene items to anyone in need on Tuesdays and Fridays. Staff is available by appointment by calling 334-356-2464.
