Renascence is a residential reentry center that helps non-violent men on probation or parole from the Alabama Department of Corrections make a successful transition to responsible living in a community. Many of the residents struggle to get to work or make appointments due to a lack of transportation. To alleviate this problem, Renascence is seeking 3 to 4 mature males to assist with transporting residents to appointments, services and/or work. Participants will be called upon on an "as needed" basis on weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Volunteers should possess:
- a valid driver's license
- be of good character
- have no outstanding warrants
- be willing to use their own vehicle
